一.土木工程简介

土木工程是基本建设的重要工程领域,土木工程建造并创造人类生活需求的各类工程设施。建筑与土木工程是国民经济发展的支柱产业之一,与人类的衣食住行关系非常密切,既是一个古老的学科,又是一个快速发展的工程领域,涉及各类工程设施的勘测、设计、施工和维护等。随着我国基本建设的投资加大,客运专线建设、高速公路建设、城市地铁建设、轻轨建设、旧城改造建设以及智能化建筑的工程建设的规划、设计、施工等急需大批专门人才。随着电子计算机、新型建筑材料科学的发展,充实和丰富了土木工程专业的基础,拓宽和发展了本专业的研究范畴。

二.本专业覆盖范围

土木工程领域涵盖结构工程、岩土工程、市政工程、桥梁与隧道工程、铁道工程、道路工程、防灾减灾工程及防护工程、建筑材料、装饰工程、建筑经济与管理专业等。相关学科包括:安全工程、水利工程、测绘工程、计算机应用技术等。土木工程领域研究上述涵盖学科(专业)的设计、施工、工程管理等相关的前沿新技术、新课题。

三.培养目标和要求

土木工程主要是培养掌握扎实和系统的建筑与土木工程领域的基本理论及其宽广的专业知识,了解相应学科的前沿发展动态,具有一定的科研能力,能运用先进技术和方法解决在相应工程领域的规划勘测、设计、施工及维护等方面的问题,能独立担负相应工程领域的技术或管理工作的高级工程技术人才。

土木工程研究生硕士学位获得者,可从事建筑与土木工程领域的科研及工程技术开发、勘测设计、工程施工和管理等工作。

四.培养方式及学习年限

全日制来华留学硕士研究生采取全脱产的培养方式,学习年限为2-2.5年,一年修完学位要求的学分后可申请论文选题。第二年主要进行专业实践和论文研究。论文研究工作时间一般不少于1年。

五.课程设置、学分要求及考核方式

攻读全日制来华留学土木工程硕士的研究生,应修最低学分为34学分,其中公共必修课20学分,基础理论课6学分,专业课8学分。

课程考核方式分为考试课和考查课两种。

1.考试课由试卷成绩和平时成绩两部分构成,平时成绩作为试卷上的单独一道大题,不超过50%。考试可采取闭卷或开卷两种形式,由国际学院统一组织。开卷考试只限携带课堂笔记和教材,不允许携带各种打印、复印资料。

2.考查课不组织考试,学生提交考核报告或结课论文,并由任课老师结合平时表现给出百分制成绩。

六.学位论文要求

1.文献综述与选题报告

硕士学位论文选题可进行基础理论研究或直接来源于生产实际或者具有明确的生产背景和应用价值。论文选题可以是调研报告类、应用基础研究类、工程技术研究类、工程规划设计类、产品研发类、案例分析类、工程管理类、应用软件类等多种类型。学位论文的选题必须在第三学期期中(10月底前)完成,选题报告统一交培养单位办公室。

选题报告应不少于3000字(不含图表),其内容主要包括:课题的意义,国内外关于该课题的研究现状及发展趋势,论文的基本构思、研究方法、计划进度、预期目标及成果,主要参考文献等。选题报告中引用中、外文文献不少于20篇(外文文献不少于5篇)。

2.论文中期检查

在学位论文工作中期(第四学期),按照工程领域组织专家组对工程硕士生的论文工作完成情况、工作态度等方面进行检查,由专家组提出改进建议。

3.论文评审、答辩

学位论文完成后,根据《石家庄铁道大学工程硕士研究生学位论文答辩与学位申请程序》执行。论文需有两位具有高级职称的专家审查。答辩委员会至少由三位具有高级职称的专家组成。通过答辩后,经学院和学校学术委员会批准,授予工学硕士学位。

Civil engineering is an important engineering field which give construction of various engineering facilities for human life needs. Architecture and civil engineering is one of the foundation of national economy development, and related very closely to the daily life of human beings. It is not only an ancient discipline, but also a rapid development field, involving all kinds of engineering facilities of survey, design, construction and maintenance, etc. Along with the more basic construction investment, such as the passenger dedicated line, highway, urban subway, light rail, the old city renovation and planning of the construction of the intelligent building, a large number of specialized design, construction personnel are badly in needed. With the development of electronic computer and new-type building materials science, it has enriched and enriched the foundation of civil engineering, and broadened and developed the research scope of this major.

IIScope of professional

The field civil engineering include of structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, municipal engineering, bridge and tunnel engineering, railway engineering, road engineering, disaster prevention and reduction engineering and protective engineering, building materials, decoration engineering, construction economics and management, etc. Related subjects include: safety engineering, hydraulic engineering, surveying and mapping engineering, computer application technology, etc. In the field of civil engineering, the above research covers the design, construction, engineering management and other related frontier new technologies and topics. IIIGoals and requirements

The goals of this subject is to cultivate solid grasp of basic theories in the field of civil engineering and widely professional knowledge, understand the forward development trends, qualified scientific research ability. It also train the candidates to use in the field of advanced technology and method to solve the corresponding engineering survey, design, construction and maintenance planning issues, such as can independently bear more technical or management work in the field of engineering, senior engineering and technical personnel.

A master's degree in civil engineering can be engaged in research and engineering technology development, surveying and design, engineering construction and management in the field of construction and civil engineering.

IVTraining methods and study period

Postgraduate students is required as full-time in China. And the length of study is 2 ~ 2.5 years. The second year mainly carries on the professional practice and the thesis research. The working time of the thesis is usually not less than one year.

VCourse setting, credit requirements and assessment methods

To study for a master's degree in civil engineering in China, 34 credits is the minimum requirement, including 20 credits for public compulsory courses, 6 credits for basic theory courses, and 8 credits for professional courses.

Assessment method of the courses includes examination class and examination class.

a) Examination result include test score and performance. Exams may be either closed or open forms, organized by the international college. Open examination is limited to carrying class notes and teaching materials, not allowed to carry any other kinds of printing and photocopying materials.

b) For courses with the requirement to submit a term paper, the student should submit an appraisal report or the class paper.

VI Dissertation requirements

iThesis Proposal

Thesis proposal can be any types such as, investigation report, theoretical research, engineering applications research, production R&D, case analysis, project management, application software development etc. The thesis proposal must be completed in the third semester (before the end of October).

Thesis proposal shall be not less than 3000 words (excluding chart), content of which mainly includes: objectives, status and development trend, the basic idea of the thesis, research methods, schedule, goals and achievements, the main references, etc. There are no less than 20 references in the selected report (no less than 5 Chinese literatures).

ii. Inspection

Inspection of the thesis should be carried out in the fourth semester. The expert group shall check the completion status and work attitude of the master's thesis, and make suggestions for improvement by the expert group.

iii. Thesis review and defense.

The thesis can be completed in English and Chinese. The thesis defense is executed according to the “Thesis Defense and Degree Application Procedure of Master Degree of Shijiazhuang Tiedao University”. The paper should be reviewed by two experts with senior titles. The defense committee consists of at least three experts with senior titles. After the defense, the school and the academic committee of the school approved, awarding the master of engineering degree.
